The prerequisite for taking this Level 2 course is that you have completed one of our Level 1 courses (either entirely on line or with a workshop). Alternatively, you can join this course if you have completed a similar level of prior training with another academy / college. You will need to send us a copy of your Certificate.
Course Content
On this fun, interactive course blending workshop and online learning, you’ll learn how to give relaxing sound baths, gong baths, sound meditations, sound yoga, sound healing ceremonies and more!
You'll learn how to work both solo (on your own) and with others in small teams, using acoustic sounds and recorded music.
We cover how to work with healing sounds in 10 different types of group events - although the major focus is on the first one in the list below:
- Public Sound / Gong Baths & Sound Meditations
- Fairs and Festivals, for example MIND, BODY, SPIRIT events
- Meditation and Yoga Classes and Retreats
- Teachers and Students (Education Groups)
- Corporate / Other Organisations
- Elderly / Dementia Care (staff, service users, carers)

Her Approach:
Her intention is to create a safe space where participants can allow themselves to completely relax while she mindfully guides them through their healing journey of sound. Every participant receives the feeling of being enveloped in sound and vibration. Simone practises sound therapy in her beautiful space called Sound Oasis, a name lovingly inspired by her clients.
Simone feels moved to allow sound work to touch all areas of her life, and supports others on their own paths in doing so as well. Deeply inspired by the sound work practiced on the Diploma course, she integrates the sounds of her instruments and voice in her own creative way into other fields she is passionate about such as yoga, meditation, laughter yoga and runes yoga. Even her art and her dancing have been touched creatively by sound work.
Over the years her sound work has become an integral part of nutrition retreats, inspiring women’s workshops and holistic festivals. In addition, Simone weaves sound work into the yoga and meditation retreats that she runs in Ireland, Croatia and Austrialia.
What's Required?
To qualify with our Diploma, you will produce a case study portfolio involving 10 Group Sound Healing events.
You can do 10 events for any one type of sound healing group that we teach on this course (see list above).
Or you can do a mixture of groups up to a maximum of 5 different types..
For example you could do:
- 10 public sound bath / sound meditation events
- or 10 soundscapes for a particular group, for example dementia / pregnancy etc
- or a mixture of group work types, with a maximum of 5 different groups having 2 events each
You must do a minimum of 2 events for each type of group that you select.
You will produce a video recording of one group sound healing event for the practical exam.
