About Cheryl

I graduated from Duke University's PA program in 1992. I have a vast amount of experience with highly complex patients. I have worked in rural health as a Primary Care sole provider, Urgent Care, Echo Psych, Addiction treatment, Department of Corrections, Psychiatry, as well as the privilege of helping Wounded Warriors.

Over the years I witnessed and experienced that when physical issues presented that it was an indicator that there are underlying issues that need to be addressed.

I expanded my Western medical knowledge base with alternative training. As I explored these options, I began to heal myself and shared these modalities with my patients regardless of the setting. My goal is to teach others how to heal themselves.

What I do

I integrate the many modalities that I have learned and experienced over the years into a session to facilitate a person beginning their journey of self healing. I noticed over the years that many people who go all Western medicine do not get better . And others who go all Alternative medicine and do not get better either. Then there are those who integrate both Western and Alternative medicine and still do not get better. I found that there was a basic foundational healing that needed to occur before any healing method could have an impact.

That foundational healing that needed to occur was related to our connection consciously and unconsciously to our family and ancestral patterns. Many of us carry family pain for ourselves and others in the family. Many go to therapy and on a conscious level understand the trauma and pain they carry. This awareness still does not always release and heal that pain.

However Family Constellation Work found the deeper unconscious patterns we carry to stay connected to our families. Some of the familial pain and suffering that we carry can be generational. Family Constellation Work can realign and heal deep ancestral patterns.

So I developed the KUYPER method, (named to honor my ancestors). This integrates sound healing , the power of intention with Family Constellation Work. The combination of these powerful healing methods allows for healing of ancestral patterns , a release of blocks physically, emotionally, spiritually so that a person can open to receive healing stated in the power of intention and beyond. All of this release is done gently and easily not requiring knowing or reliving the story behind the trauma and pain we carry.

In addition, I teach my clients easy, fast methods that will allow them to continue to self heal. I am not the only one in the world that has limited time to sit for an hour doing Yoga etc. so the methods I teach are not time consuming but are powerful. Everyone has the ability to self heal and my goal is to facilitate others so they have the option to do that for themselves.
