Laura Garcia – Integral Sound Therapist (Gold Coast)
Laura Garcia is an Integral Sound Therapist based on the Gold Coast, offering one-to-one sessions, group experiences, and workshops that support emotional wellbeing, nervous system regulation, and self-connection through sound and breath.
Laura has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Breathwork training, as well as Level 2 Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitation. Her work is further informed by formal studies in Mental Health, allowing her to hold safe, attuned, and responsive spaces for individuals and groups with a strong awareness of emotional processes, boundaries, and nervous system support.
Alongside her clinical and therapeutic training, Laura has studied Western shamanic practices, which she weaves into her sound and breathwork sessions in a grounded and intuitive way. These practices support deeper listening, symbolic insight, and connection beyond the thinking mind, while remaining client-led and trauma-aware.
Her practice brings together sound, breath, meditation, and intuitive guidance to support people in gently moving beyond fear, protective patterns, and the masks we wear. Laura supports full-body release, deep relaxation, and reconnection to one’s inner landscape.
Laura is deeply guided by meditation and inner listening, allowing her to sense and meet people where they are. Sound is the bridge she uses to support clients in reconnecting with their own inner wisdom, emotional truth, and capacity for self-awareness. Her work encourages people to soften into themselves, cultivate self-compassion, and remember their innate ability to self-regulate and heal.
In addition to her therapeutic sessions, Laura facilitates workshops in medicine drum making, rattle creation, smudging fans, and feather wands, honouring creativity, intention, and connection to the natural world.
She also offers children’s breath and sound journeys, creating playful, safe environments where children can explore sound, voice, breath, and emotional expression in an age-appropriate and supportive way. Laura further hosts drum and singing circles on the land, inviting connection through rhythm, voice, and community.
