About Molly

Molly Adkins deeply understands how sound affects both the physical and subtle bodies and intentionally uses vibration to support healing, learning, and transformation, as both a practitioner and an instructor of sound healing.

Molly has travelled the world studying music across cultures, including living in Japan for 11 years while researching traditional Japanese folk songs and instruments for her master’s thesis. After returning to the United States, she taught Japanese language and culture at a public high school for 20 years before feeling called to make sound healing her full-time vocation.

After graduating with a BA in Voice from the University of Colorado, Molly resided in Japan for 11 years. During this time, she became a singer of traditional Japanese folk songs and earned an MA in Ethnomusicology from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. She returned to the United States in 2000 and taught Japanese at a high school in Indiana for 20 years.

During a particularly turbulent period in her life, Molly discovered yoga classes that incorporated mantra chanting and crystal singing bowls. Through daily practice, she noticed profound shifts — becoming not only physically stronger, but also mentally and emotionally more resilient. This deeply healing experience became a catalyst for a major life transformation, leading her to retire early from teaching and follow her heart’s calling into sound healing.

Molly now runs her own business, Sacred Sound Healing LLC, and resides in Manitou Springs, Colorado, a place renowned for its healing mineral springs and stunning mountain views. She offers sound healing in Colorado and facilitates group sessions and workshops, including sound healing in Colorado Springs, drawing on her rich musical background and intuitive approach.

In addition to completing multiple sound healing certifications in Colorado through the Sound Healing Academy, Molly also holds certifications in Intuitive Coaching, Humming for Health, Trauma-Informed Yoga for Youth, 200-hour RYT Yoga Instruction, and Reiki Master. She is deeply committed to ongoing learning and regularly participates in and supports sound healing training in Colorado, making her work both accessible and profoundly transformative.
