About Roger

I am a qualified Sound Healing Practitioner based in Brisbane, Australia, trained through the Sound Healing Academy and a Full Member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.

 Before stepping into sound healing, I spent years working in an office-based role. Over time, I began to notice the impact of stress on my own body and I also witnessed people around me becoming unwell due to prolonged overwork. These experiences led me to reflect on the importance of maintaining balance, rather than waiting until the body reaches a point of breakdown.

My first encounter with sound healing brought a deep sense of calm and relief that I had not experienced before. After completing my Level 1 Foundation Course in 2024, I felt a clear determination to continue this path and deepen my practice. In 2025, I committed fully to the journey - undertaking further training, participating in in-person workshops with teachers, hosting regular public sound bath sessions and collaborating with yoga and meditation teachers in their classes.

Through this continued learning and hands-on experience, I have now achieved my Diploma in Professional Integral Group Sound Healing with Groups. Along the way, it has been especially meaningful to witness participants leaving sessions feeling more relaxed, grounded and at ease.

 Today, I offer group sound bath sessions across Brisbane community venues, creating a safe and supportive space for deep relaxation, nervous system reset and inner balance.

 When working with sound, I enjoy allowing a sense of freedom and presence to guide the experience. Each session is approached with care, intention and openness - creating space for both structure and intuitive flow.

 My intention is simple - to help people pause, reconnect and restore a sense of calm in a busy and demanding world. As I continue this journey, I remain committed to refining my practice and supporting others through the gentle and transformative power of sound.
