On this 12 month course you'll learn how to give relaxing sound baths, gong baths, sound meditations, sound yoga, sound healing ceremonies and more!
You'll learn how to work both solo (on your own) and with others in small teams, using acoustic sounds and recorded music.
We cover how to work with healing sounds in 10 different types of group events:
- Public Sound / Gong Baths & Sound Meditations
- Fairs and Festivals, for example MIND, BODY, SPIRIT events
- Meditation and Yoga Classes and Retreats
- Teachers and Students (Education Groups)
- Corporate / Other Organisations
- Elderly / Dementia Care (staff, service users, carers)
- Autistic Spectrum Disorders (staff, service users, carers)
- Palliative Care (Cancer Support)
- Pregnancy (pre and post natal)
- Transformational Ceremonies & Rituals

WHAT'S REQUIRED:
To qualify with our Diploma, you will produce a case study portfolio involving 10 Group Sound Healing events.
You can do 10 events for any one type of sound healing group that we teach on this course (see list above).
Or you can do a mixture of groups up to a maximum of 5 different types..
For example you could do:
- 10 public sound bath / sound meditation events
- or 10 soundscapes for a particular group, for example dementia / pregnancy etc
- or a mixture of group work types, with a maximum of 5 different groups having 2 events each
You must do a minimum of 2 events for each type of group that you select.
You will produce a video recording of one group sound healing event for the practical exam.

GROUP DYNAMICS
The quality of the relationship between you and people in your groups is critical to the success of the sound healing process.

MUSIC MEDICINE
Although the instruments we use to create the healing sounds are easy to play, we teach key musical concepts and techniques that enhance the healing process, including: natural harmonics and overtones; musical intervals; dynamics of consonance, dissonance, rhythm, amplitude & sensitivity.
ASSESSING ENERGY FIELDS
To be effective in facilitating positive healing outcomes for your groups you need to be sensitive to the energy fields of people in your group – both physical and subtle – and respond with creating appropriate healing sounds in your sessions.
You’ll learn reliable techniques for assessing energy field dynamics using both sound and muscle testing, based on classic kinesiology.
BALANCING THE BIOFIELD
We teach you how you can work with therapeutic instruments and your voice to correct distortions in the energy fields of your clients, including the sound biofield and chakras to achieve harmony, balance and healing.
You’ll learn effective techniques for working off-the-body of people in your groups. We do not recommend on-the-body work in groups. That’s best done in 1-2-1 sound healing session with clients.
INTEGRAL SOUND HEALING

We draw on the Integral Medicine models of Amit Goswami, Ken Wilber, Marylin Schlitz and others.
