Completion of Level 1 Certified Training with us, or another recognised academy, is required before joining.

Annie Ridgway is a fully qualified Sound Healing Practitioner, musician, and singer/songwriter who has been leading workshops in singing and sound for over a decade, both across Australia and internationally. She holds two Diplomas in Sound Therapy through the Sound Healing Academy in the UK and is widely respected for her contribution to sound healing in Australia, particularly in the areas of education, voice, and embodied practice.

Drawing on her extensive musical background, Annie integrates voice, intention, and therapeutic sound to support health and well-being. Her work in sound healing on the Gold Coast has supported individuals and groups through stress relief, emotional regulation, and deep relaxation, while her presence in Byron Bay has made her a trusted facilitator within conscious and wellness-focused communities.

As an accomplished musician, Annie has conducted numerous singing and songwriting workshops and has performed at many Australian folk festivals, including the National Folk Festival and the Blue Mountains Folk Festival. Over the past decade, she has produced four CDs, including Chakra Swoon, a seven-track chakra-based meditation album using Tibetan singing bowls and voice to support stress management and relaxation — a reflection of her pioneering work in sound healing in Gold Coast and beyond.

Annie runs a flourishing private practice offering sound healing in Gold Coast, and regularly facilitates sessions and events connected to sound healing in Byron Bay. Alongside her clinical work, she plays a key leadership role as the Global Lead Associate Teacher with the Sound Healing Academy, delivering both Level 1 and Level 2 professional trainings. Through this role, Annie is deeply involved in shaping sound healing training in Australia and supporting the next generation of practitioners through accredited sound healing courses in Australia.

Internationally, Annie has been recognised for her expertise in sound and voice. In 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014, she was invited to conduct singing workshops and sound therapy sessions at the renowned wellness spa Kamalaya in Koh Samui, Thailand. She was invited to return in 2015 to perform music concerts and lead mantra workshops for Kamalaya’s 10-year anniversary celebrations.

At the heart of Annie’s work is a deep trust in the body’s innate intelligence and capacity for self-healing. As she shares:
