Sound Healing With Gongs

The start date for this course is the first day of the workshop. You will receive access to the online course 7 days before the workshop - any online studying before the workshop is optional.

To qualify with our Level 1 Foundation Certificate, you must attend both sessions of the workshop and complete and return the course workbook.

This involves carrying out some practice exercises plus 3 sound healing sessions and answering a few questions that test your knowledge. 

You have 3 months to do this from Day 1 of the workshop, although you can complete the course more quickly if you wish.

Please note that taking this 2-day workshop does not qualify you to work as a professional sound healing practitioner with Gongs.  

However, having taken this workshop course, you will be able to join one of our Level 2 Diploma courses.

The aim is for you to gain the ability and confidence to work with Gongs effectively using a wide range of techniques.

PDF Certificate: Level 1 Foundation Certificate in Sound Healing With Gongs – upon successful completion of the 2 Day Workshop and the Workbook for the course. This will qualify you to give sound healing to your friends and family. If you are a certified therapist (yoga, reiki, massage etc.), it will enable you to integrate sound healing into your current practice. Any of our Level 2 Diploma courses will qualify you to become a professional Sound Healing  practitioner, and get insurance for this work.

When you get your certificate for this course you will then be able to enroll in Level 2 Diploma in Sound Healing: 1-to-1 Clients. You will also get a credit for this, which means you will be able to skip the Gongs module of this Level 2 course. Getting the certificate for the Gongs Workshop course will also enable you to enroll onto the Level 2 in Sound Healing: Groups.

On this intensive, you'll dive deeply into the healing vibrations of Gongs!

You'll spend 2 days in an interactive learning environment, with talks and demonstrations from an expert teacher combined with hands-on practice sessions with Gongs.

You'll learn the knowledge, skills and techniques to work effectively with Gongs in sound healing with individual clients.

You'll also learn advanced techniques that you can integrate into an existing therapy or healing practice.

By the end of the intensive you'll have the confidence to immediately start working at a high-level with Gongs.

We provide the instruments needed for the training so you do not need to bring any to the workshop.

If you don’t yet own all of the required instruments, don't worry! They can be purchased from our Sound Therapy Shop.

You will need the following:
- One small hand-held wind gong - around 45 cm / 18 inch diameter (plus or minus 5 cm / 2 inch)
- Two mallets of different sizes to match the size of your gong.
