Get a structured online learning process both before & after the 5-day in-person workshop

On this 12 month course you'll learn how to give relaxing sound baths, gong baths, sound meditations, sound yoga, sound healing ceremonies and more!

You'll learn how to work both solo (on your own) and with others in small teams, using acoustic sounds and recorded music.  

Becky Cresswell will be your teacher for the in-person workshop, then for the "on-line study" part after the workshop, you will be assigned an online tutor to help you with your studies.

We cover how to work with healing sounds in 10 different types of group events: 

  • Public Sound Baths, Sound Journeys & Sound Meditations with Gongs, Singing Bowls, Drums, Voice and other easy-to-play instruments
  • Yoga & Meditation Classes / Retreats
  • Teachers and Students (Education Groups)
  • Corporate / Other Organisations
  • Transformational Ceremonies & Rituals
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorders (staff, service users, carers)

Who Is This Course For?

This Group Sound Healing Course is one of our most popular courses.

This course appeals to holistic health practitioners; yoga and meditation teachers; musicians and singers; psychotherapists and other health-care practitioners.

It is packed full of knowledge, skills and techniques to enable you to build an exciting and diverse portfolio of group sound healing sessions.

You’ll be able to successfully launch and develop an effective group sound healing service with multiple income streams.

The prerequisite for taking this Level 2 course is that you have completed one of our Certified Level 1 courses (either entirely on line or with a workshop).  Alternatively, you can join this course if you have completed a similar level of prior training with another academy / college. You will need to send us a copy of your Certificate.

The welcoming and peaceful Birmingham Buddhist Centre in Moseley, Birmingham is the heart of a network of spiritual friendships and is based in the inviting and vibrant area of Moseley, Birmingham. The centre is used to practise and teach meditation and Buddhism to anyone who is interested welcoming visits from schools, colleges, interfaith groups and other interested parties.

In his early years J.R.R. Tolkien spent his life in Moseley, saying to have drawn inspiration from the local area in his books, The Lord of the Rings.

The Buddhist Centre is a 10-minute walk from Moseley High Street where there are a selection of shops and eateries. And buses regularly travel (15-20 minute journey) from Birmingham City Centre to Moseley. Here is the link for the bus timetable:

Taxis can also be taken from the City Centre to the Buddhist Centre as well. Parking is also free on Park Road where the Centre is situated.

And if looking for accommodation there are many B&B’s in Moseley, Birmingham, which can be located on Airbnb. Or there is always the option to stay nearer to the City Centre in one of the many hotels located there.

About Your Teacher: Becky Cresswell

Becky Cresswell

Becky is a Singer, Musician, Composer, Sound Healing Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Reiki Healer, Chakra Dancing & Creative Meditation Therapist, Women's Circle Facilitator, training to be a Goddess Priestess and is also studying Natural Magic and Druidry.

She has also studied Popular Music at University achieving a BA (HONS) in Popular Music with the honours in vocal performance, has a PGCE in Secondary Education Music, has studied Healing Voice work with Jill Purce and trained to be a Sound Healing Practitioner with the Sound Healing Academy.

Sound, Music and Healing work have always played a distinct and important role in Becky's life. Being a Musician, previously a Music Teacher in Secondary & Primary education as well as a Sound Healing Practitioner she feels passionately about the profound healing effects sound and music can have on the body, mind and soul and now loves sharing these through the mediums of Sound Baths, Sound Meditations, in Yoga classes and 1-2-1 sessions.
