Annie Ridgway is a fully qualified Sound Healing Practitioner, musician, and singer-songwriter with over a decade of experience guiding people through the healing power of sound, voice, and music. She has been offering singing and sound healing workshops for more than ten years, both across Australia and internationally, weaving together musical artistry with deep therapeutic presence.

Holding two Diplomas in Sound Therapy through the Sound Healing Academy in the UK, Annie brings a rich blend of musical sensitivity, technical skill, and intuitive awareness to her work.

Her background as an accomplished musician includes facilitating numerous singing and songwriting workshops, as well as performing at major Australian folk festivals, including the National Folk Festival and the Blue Mountains Folk Festival. 

Over the past decade, Annie has released four albums, including Chakra Swoon — a seven-track meditative sound journey combining Tibetan singing bowls and voice, created to support relaxation, stress reduction, and energetic balance.
Based in Byron Bay, Australia, Annie runs a flourishing Sound Healing practice and serves as the Region Lead Associate Teacher for Australasia with the Sound Healing Academy, delivering both Level 1 and Level 2 practitioner trainings. Her teaching style is grounded, nurturing, and deeply respectful of the body’s innate intelligence, supporting students to develop confidence, integrity, and presence in their practice. 

Annie has also been invited to share her work internationally, including leading singing workshops and sound therapy sessions at the renowned Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary in Koh Samui, Thailand, from 2011 to 2014, and returning again in 2015 to perform concerts and facilitate mantra workshops for the sanctuary’s 10-year anniversary.
