Deposits

All deposits for workshop-based courses (including live online workshops) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Balance Payments

• 30+ days before the workshop: Balance is due to your teacher within 30 days of booking.
• Less than 30 days before: Balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the workshop.
• 7 days or less before: Balance must be paid at least 48 hours before the workshop begins.

If balances are not paid on time, the deposit will be forfeited and your place at the workshop released.
You’ll receive an email from your teacher within 3 business days of paying your deposit with balance payment details (please check Junk/Spam if it doesn’t appear).

Cancellations

• 30+ days before the workshop: Refund of full fee (less the deposit and an admin fee).
• 15–29 days before: 50% refund (less the deposit and an admin fee).
• Less than 15 days before: No refund. The full balance is still due.

If you cannot attend, you may send a substitute in your place (we must be notified before the workshop begins).
SHA may cancel or postpone a workshop if unforeseen circumstances arise, or if minimum numbers are not met 15 days prior. In this case, fees will be refunded in full. Please note: SHA is not responsible for any other costs (travel, accommodation, etc.).

Payment Plans

For Certified students

• Option 1: 30% deposit to SHA, 70% in one instalment to your teacher.
• Option 2: 30% deposit to SHA, 70% split into 2–3 monthly instalments directly to your teacher. A small admin fee may apply per instalment.

If payments are missed, SHA may suspend online access and teacher support.

For Workshop only students

• Option 1: 30% deposit to SHA, 70% in one instalment to your teacher.
• Option 2: 30% deposit to SHA, 70% split into 2–3 monthly instalments directly to your teacher.

All payments must be completed at least 48 hours before the workshop begins.

Special Circumstances

In some cases, teachers may agree to a longer payment plan for Certified courses (not Workshop only). This must be arranged before the course begins, and may include extra admin fees.

Upgrades

If you take the Workshop Only option and wish to upgrade to the full course:

• Level 1: You have 8 weeks from the final day of the workshop.
• Level 2: You have 12 weeks from the final day of the workshop.

Requests can be made via your teacher or directly to Support. Upgrades are at SHA’s discretion and not guaranteed.

Qualifying & Insurance

To become a fully qualified Sound Healing Practitioner, you must complete the whole of your Level 2 Diploma training and receive your Diploma in the mail. Until then, you may not advertise or charge for professional 1:1 or group work.

SHA supports students in obtaining Student Insurance but does not endorse applying for Practitioner Insurance until you are fully qualified. Following this agreement helps us create a respectful and supportive learning space for everyone, while maintaining the quality and standards of the training we all value.

Course Content & Intellectual Property

All SHA course content is for your personal educational use only. Reproducing, sharing, or using our materials to set up a competing school or training is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
