About The Venue
113 The University Theatre, Bath Spa University, Newton St. Loe, Bath, Somerset, BA2 9BN, UK
We will be based at the Newton Park campus of Bath Spa university. You could take a walk around the lake. The campus has its very own woods, historic listed buildings, and rolling fields. The grounds were designed by the well-known landscape architect Capability Brown in the 18th century.
There is a cafe on site which serves a wide selection of hot and cold food. Bath is a vibrant place, famous for its Roman Baths and Georgian architecture. A UNESCO World Heritage city, Bath is situated in the beautiful countryside of the South West.
By train it's only 15 minutes from Bristol and 90 minutes to London.
Getting there by bus: The U5 service takes you from the centre of Bath to Newton Park. The U5 operates seven days a week, running until roughly 3am Monday - Saturday. The X39 stops by The Globe and is a 15 minute walk up the drive to campus.
By train: Bath Spa is Bath’s main train station and is located in the city centre. Hop on the U5 to take you straight to Newton Park.
By car: there is a pay and display car park on the campus.

You will not get access to any online learning resources, zoom calls, or ongoing tutoring and support. You are also not required to do any home study or practice before or after the workshop.

About Your Teacher: Nana-Anua Smith
Nana-Anua (pronounced 'Na-nan-you-ah')'s journey to the Sound Healing Academy has taken many twists and turns. She has practiced yoga on and off for over 20 years.
About 6 years ago, she discovered yoga nidra. Her yoga nidra training included a lot of chanting and she was also introduced to the Tibetan bowls.
They had a powerful impact on her, and Nana-Anua then started to investigate sound and that is what led her to the Sound Healing Academy. She has completed our Level 2 Practitioner Diplomas for working with Groups and 1:1 with clients.
Nana Anua is also a primary school teacher and has introduced sound and yoga nidra work to the children.
